Mankind's vibrations have increased considerably from 2013. Mike Quinsey's Higher Self.

There is no doubt that the vibrations of Mankind have increased considerably within the years that followed 2012, when the New Age officially commenced. It is notable amongst the younger generations who had a head start because they had already lifted up their vibrations prior to their incarnation. Their influence has helped many individuals reach new levels of Light, enabling them to achieve their objectives in a much quicker time. Much of their good work is acknowledged but goes unpublicised, yet in fact they do not seek recognition for it. Generally evolved Lightworkers do not seek a reward for what they do, and it is the satisfaction of doing work for the good of humanity that is their first concern. Nevertheless, should your work be acknowledged it is a credit to your efficiency and dedication to your tasks.

Every soul that takes an incarnation upon Earth comes equipped with the means to successfully complete their task. That includes advice and guidance to set you upon your right path, and at different times during your life souls will help you with your tasks to ensure your success. Inevitably sacrifices have to be made, but you will have agreed to them prior to your incarnation. Yet having freewill you could easily defer your work or ignore it in full and it would not bring any recriminations, but a similar task may follow on to test your intent to carry out your work as planned.

Some souls ask why Lightworkers do not always identify themselves when working for the Light, and it is because it is often best way to ward off unwanted attention to enable them to complete their work satisfactorily. The dark Ones will go to great lengths to interfere with your work, as their motives are to cause as much confusion as possible. Naturally in some circumstances you cannot avoid publicity but you would be protected in your work. The secret to your safety is your vibrations as high as possible at all times, and the Light will protect you from the lower energies.

Whatever effort you put into uplifting your Light, it will be rewarded as you will have expressed your intent and it will benefit you. What you focus upon will be attracted to you in the course of time, which is why it is wise at all times to guard your thoughts. Following the same line of approach you can for example help those souls who need help, by sending them healing bands of colour according to their needs, and the purer the colours the more potent they are. However with the new way of expressing things in the New Age, you do not need to send specific healing energies repeatedly, as once you have sent them to do their work it should be sufficient.

You are currently in a great stage of change as the new ways and methods that are available are waiting to be introduced. It will take time but ultimately they will be successful, as it is in accordance with your wishes to move on from a period of slow changes and growth because advancements have been deliberately held back. Know that there has always been a plan for your evolution, and those who oversee your progress will ensure that it is followed. It is your right to benefit from the advances made over many years, and whilst some have filtered through in areas such as medicine and electronics many have been deliberately denied you. That position cannot remain for much longer as more and more people are demanding that the information is released for the benefit of all mankind. When you become aware for example that the surgeon’s knife will no longer be needed, and that “operations” could be carried out without the use of it you realise how far behind you are in medical matters. You may question why such a situation is still allowed and it is because we must respect your freewill to arrange your own destiny.

You could say that the Earth is a pictorial of “Life through the Ages” as examples of it can still be found all over the world. It was not through design but inevitable as various groups of souls at different levels have incarnated upon Earth. They were at very contrasting levels of evolution and kept apart so as to allow their advancement to suit their needs. Through the passing of time such souls have evolved but are not necessarily ready to take a major step forward. Again those who have advanced are often further ahead of younger groups than ever before, and in some instances there has been a deliberate policy of keeping them in ignorance so that they could be used as virtual slaves. Clearly those souls being held back must be helped to advance, just the same way as in the very near future you will also be given an opportunity to ascend to a higher level.

You have been kept in the dark for many Ages and suffered many unpleasant experiences, yet you have come through them to be much stronger and have emerged as souls capable of expressing yourself in love and joy as one that has “Seen the Light”. By your example others will follow in your footsteps having seen the peace and light that you radiate around you. Even now by doing so some of you are radiating your Light to all and helping to uplift the vibrations. In general terms evolved spiritual Beings have an instinctive feeling and desire to help other souls lift up, and when you are ready to do so you may be sure that your talents will be used accordingly to help them.

Whatever your role in this lifetime you may be certain that at some stage you will be called upon to help others to evolve. It is a matter of using your knowledge and experience to help a soul who may benefit from your experience. Taken a stage further you may desire to become a teacher of spiritual matters yourself, and that can happen either inside or outside of the organised religions. You will have already reached a stage of understanding in which you know that you only give a soul as much as they are ready for and can comprehend, as too much may confuse them.

I leave you in love and blessings and may your dreams be fulfilled and the Light brighten your days. This message comes through my Higher Self my Godself.
In Love and Light.

A Message to Lightworkers – July 12, 2019 ~ The Collective, Oceana Ryan.

A Message to Lightworkers

@ July 12, 2019.

A Message to Lightworkers.

From the Collective of Guides,

via Caroline Oceana Ryan.

.

This week’s guidance from the Ascended Masters, Galactics, Earth Elementals, Faery Elders, Angels, and Archangels known as the Collective:
Greetings, friends! We are happy to have this opportunity to speak with you today.
And we see that many of you are in a state of distress over world events—talk of war breaking out in some regions, as well as the state of perpetual war that exists in the Middle East and other regions, climate change, violence against women and children, the quality of your food, air and water, and many other issues that plague your subconscious with stress and upset even when you are more consciously attending to your everyday lives.
And we would say, we understand your upset and your unhappiness, and we empathize—those of us who have lived Earth lives well understand your reactions of concern.
Yet your upset is one great reason why these very disturbing events are taking place.
It is not that you have caused them with your kindness, your compassion, your awareness of the struggles and suffering of those both near and far from you.
It is that your own emotional distress only amplifies the effect of what these dear ones are feeling and experiencing—and that is one of the main reasons why these events are taking place.
Those who perpetuate war, who profit from human trafficking and weapons sales, who upend regimes in other countries so as to take over those countries by installing a puppet dictator in place of a democratic leader—they are aware that violence upsets the human condition, and that when the sensitivity of Light Bearers is triggered in a particular way, that dense emotion then creates more food for the systems that keep the perpetrators active and seemingly in control.
We do not suggest that because of this, you ought to stop caring about other human beings.
We understand that you have come here to extend warmth, kindness, caring, and support to many, particularly to those in need of aid and encouragement.

We would only ask that you remain as emotionally neutral as possible as you view these conditions.

Understand that though, for example, human trafficking has existed for thousands of years, one hears of it far more often now because of the emotional upset that comes of hearing about it.

Of course there is a degree to which that activity has increased over the past few decades, and you would be correct in pointing that out.
Though the motivation to end these crimes has increased, the rage and shock felt by those objecting to them has only served to undergird the overall aim of the old power structure.
And that objective is to keep your overall vibration as low as possible.
They take aim at your emotions, and as human emotion can be not only wide-ranging but unstable under certain circumstances, many situations are created then reported on widely in the media with the aim of discouraging, dividing, upsetting, or panicking the masses.
They work to sink your emotional vibration, in other words, because your emotions are a powerful mode of co-Creation.
And one of the easiest ways to keep your vibration low, is by throwing off your inner sense of balance by systematically showing examples of people suffering, while you stand unable to assist them in any way.
The old regime’s systems also feed off of the despair and fear energy of those who are put in a position of suffering.
Certainly, you can sign petitions and write letters to your representatives in government, and this actually goes much further to change things than simply stressing over a situation, unhappily discussing those situations with those you know, or swearing that you’ll “vote for the other party next time.”
Yet we can assure you, at present on the Earth, nearly all parties serve the same master, though not every member of every party does so.
And that master is the same one perpetuating war, slavery, technologically designed drought and flooding, and other situations that cause distress on many levels.
So that once again, we are asking you to step out of the role you have played for thousands of years.

We are asking you to set down the chains that have bound you—they are no longer locked in place, so put them down!—and accept your sovereignty.
Accept that with your positive feeling about life, your individual empowerment, and your vision of a far better world, you are shifting things far more quickly and more powerfully than any political movement or army on Earth could ever dream of.
Yes, you are that powerful.
You are able to envision Peace, calm, good health, well-being, Abundance, and freedom for every child, woman, and man on the Earth.
And you are able, by delighting each day in the feeling of that beautiful vision, to actually help create it. In those moments, you command it forth.
We are asking you, in other words, to cease dancing to someone else’s tune.
It is not yours, and it is not the only one you know—not the music of the higher realms, or the music of the spheres, which you are increasingly attuned to.
What you are hearing on Earth in these last desperate days of the old regime is a cacophony; an accident falling forward into chaos.
It has nothing to do with who you are.
The passivity, hopelessness, and helplessness it is constantly working to anchor into you are also not Who you are.
You are a birther of new worlds, of planets and stars, of beauty and self-creating sustenance.
A building of bridges, and designer of cures and pathways—not a helpless bystander on a path they never created and have no influence over.
We are sure you can hear and feel the difference between the two!
We would suggest that you take time off from watching or reading the news several days each week, and take that time and invest it purely in what builds you up as a co-Creator.
Times of reading what encourages and inspires you, spending time in Nature, talking and laughing with a friend or enjoying a comedy, spending time with animals or children in ways that are enjoyable, being creative at something you can become absorbed in as if it were a kind of meditation.
And allow those times to assure you that All is Well.

That there is no need for anger, for panic, for immediate action that appeals to the left-brain mind as the only way forward.
You are beyond the “reaction” mode of living now. You are releasing it for good.
You are moving forward into Joy, self-reliance, and knowing you are never alone.
Indeed, as we view the many millions of ships surrounding the Earth now, full of teams of healers, and experts at assisting in Earth’s cleansing and renewal, we see you working alongside them in your sleep state, full of purpose and the joyful realization that you are not stuck in the old times.
You are in a New Day, and it welcomes you with open arms, as do all of us.
Namaste, dear ones! We are with you, always.

Dutch Company Reveals An Electric Car That Charges Itself With Sunlight ~ Arjun Walia

Dutch Company Reveals An Electric Car That Charges Itself With Sunlight.

By Arjun Walia, Collective Evolution

July 13, 2019

In Brief
  • The Facts: A Dutch company has unveiled an electric car that charges itself with via solar power.
  • Reflect On: How long have solutions to our problems existed? Is finding the solutions the problem, or have they been here for a long time? If we have the solutions readily available, the what’s the problem that we need to identify?
A Dutch company from Eindhoven has released a prototype car that has already sold 100 orders to be filled in 2011. What’s special about the car is that it is completely electric as well as solar powered. The prototype car actually won the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, and it represents the world’s very first long-range solar car. It’s a four passenger vehicle and it’s called Lightyear One.
According to the company, the car will get to a range of approximately 725 km, and 400 km in the winter at highway speeds with heating on. This is truly amazing, and it represents what humans have had the ability to do for a number of years. Just imagine if every single car was electric and solar powered? You would never need to charge your car, it would always be self charging. It completely takes conventional charging and gas out of the equation, which is amazing.

Here at Collective Evolution, we’ve always talked about how humanity has many of the solutions to our problems. Often times, the issue isn’t with finding solutions to the world’s problems, it’s with actually implementing them. The systems and all of the red tape and corruption that take place have prevented us from moving forward. Electric and solar technology with regards to transportation could have been implemented a very long time ago, but again, the problem is not with having the solution, it’s with implementation. This problem has plagued our world for a very long time, and it’s something we need to continue to be vocal about.

The Dimensional Structure of Consciousness ~ Michael Becker.

chamavioleta, 13.07.19

The Dimensional Structure of Consciousness.

By Michael Becker.

Posted July 12, 2019 by Edward Morgan.

.

A colossal transcendence of material thinking and clear connection to higher consciousness has to be achieved if we want to attempt to contemplate a topic as abstract as how dimensions are structured within the God Source. Today, I’m addressing my understanding of how the various frequency bands of existence are set up within the energetic field that is Source. I want to note that even though my research, readings, and learnings informed and influenced my conceptualization of this idea, none of what I’m about to propose is being regurgitated from elsewhere, nor have I found this particular imagining or “theory” anywhere else on the web. The contents of this post come from my personal downloads.

How Dimensions are Structured

Image result for dimensions existence

The body of Source is a spiraling vortex of energy, beginning from a singular point which can be called the Godhead and which uncoils like a cone to form the energy body. The central filament is a golden cord, which serves as The Creator’s figurative spinal column, which is the essence of unconditional love.
Within itself, Source created frequency bands where it could apportion and then experience itself from various levels of awareness and from differing perspectives. 11 of the dimensions are experiential, and the 12th is the essence of Unconditional Love.

Each frequency band or strata of light spins at higher frequencies as they’re ascended, and each represents a different color, along with separate makeup and activity.
Via a process of energetic division as well as frequency reduction, Source put aspects of its own consciousness inside the various levels of its creation.
These levels I’m referring to can also be called dimensions, and they exist as strata of light or spectrums of frequency that stream from the Godhead through its body.
Dimensions are not places or locations; they are levels of consciousness vibrating at certain oscillatory speeds. Consciousness acquires greater photonic density it ascends upward, and in so doing, gains a broader perspective of reality.
As Consciousness ascends the dimensions, it accumulates greater density. This means it re-acquires increased Godsource energy — more light, love, manifestation power, wisdom, and understanding.

A Word on Mathematics

I am not a mathematician or physicist, but there are a number of concepts that might help you begin to form a mental image of this concept.
Energy. First and foremost, energy is everything. All is made of energy. Do not think about dimensions as places or material layers of a cake; think of them as energy bands stacked atop one another but in the same ‘space’, like radio/TV stations.
369. Tesla’s ‘369 Keys to the Universe‘ — unveiled and explained in detail by Gary Lite — reveal the how energy is expressing itself mathematically. This math has no anomalies and shows the dimensional shape and function of the universe, which is one of many situated within Source’s omniverse.

Sacred math. Vortex-based mathematics and Sacred Geometry offer insights we can take into account to understand the dimensional structure of existence.

Image result for fibonacci in nature
In the same construction as a galaxy, a hurricane, or a seashell, dimensions are spirals of energy inside of Source.

In following the Fibonacci sequence, each dimension spirals and swirls in an unfurling manner.
Understand: up until now, I have NOT been talking about what happens in each dimension or what kind of entity/collective would correspond with or populate each. I am addressing the pattern/structure of the light-energy that constitutes dimensions within Source.
However, if you’re interested, here’s a couple graphics showing the manifestation/form that consciousness takes to experience each dimension:

Source: Mind-Matrix.net

I’ll publish a separate piece down the line explaining how consciousness would experience at each dimension as it ascends.
Imagine Observing the Godhead as if you were viewing it head on — directly in front of it. You’d see a golden dot in the very middle as a point, and which extends backward as the central filament of golden light. You’d also see a rotating spherical vortex filled with different and beautiful energy structures, all of different oscillations, speeds, and colors.

The Third, Sixth, and Ninth dimensions are of particular significance. They serve as the core self-actualization frequencies within Source. Dimensions can overlap but consciousness can only perceive of experiences vibrating at the same or lower levels.
Dimensions spin along the rotation of Source as it rotates itself, catapulting itself through the un-manifest. Dimensions are in constant movement, too — their placement is not fixed. But consciousnesses works among each in relatively steady environments. Think about the solar system and the way the Earth is in a state of constant motion. Dimensions work in a similar fashion.
Dimensions exist only so consciousness can experience from different levels. All things exist simultaneously within Source, but since dimensions require consciousness to experience them, your perception is dictated by your level of consciousness based on where your focal point of awareness is working. A 2D tree wouldn't perceive of a 7D planetary collective, though it could feel its love.
Dimensions are non-existent unless there’s something there to experience them. The First Dimension — rocks, minerals, and elementals — will be eliminated from the Matrix once that experience has been completely achieved by consciousness and once all 2D and 3D beings have no further learning objectives with that matter.
Once all individuated units/portions of consciousness are complete with 3D experiences, then there will no longer be any need for First, Second, or Third dimensional observation/experience/presence. Once all aspects of the Source have ascended beyond the 3D, anything less than 3D will be “closed” down, just like someone flipped a switch and the lights go off.

Final Thoughts

Dimensions exist as rotational energetic frequencies within Source and can be likened to our internal cells, arteries, and musculoskeletal system. They exist everywhere but are in constant movement. Dimensions provide different experiences and purposes, and they all work together for the totality.
I will update this article as I continue to gain new insights, downloads, and information about this complex subject.
Here’s a few recommended resources/articles to check out if you want to understand more about the dimensions of reality:

7 Must-Read Fiction Books That Will Leave a Mark on Your Soul ~ Sherrie.

chamavioleta, 13.07.19

7 Must-Read Fiction Books That Will Leave a Mark on Your Soul.

By Sherrie.

July 13th, 2019

Reading is an important part of life, truly. There are many fiction books which are a must-read and are sure to impress you.
Despite the uprising of technology and ever-changing modifications of modern times, reading is still a timeless treasured activity.
I remember a time when reading books, you know, the ones you can actually hold in your hand, was the only way to read. So many of us can look back at a simpler time as this.
From then until now, I’ve encountered many must-read fiction books that remained with me throughout the years…touched my soul even. But there are others too.

The power of the right words that makes some fiction books a must-read

Thousands of words could leave no impression at all, just as one sentence could leave a deep indention upon one’s soul.
There are books to read for fun, non-fiction books to learn facts, then there is must-read fiction which proves to be some of the best books in existence.

Here’s where we take a close look at a few of them. Maybe you’ve read some of these yourself.

1. Hope for the Flowers, Trina Paulus, (1972)

To some, this story may seem like a children’s book, but at a closer look, you will notice the allegorical and rather mature meaning of the story.
Hope for the Flowers relays a tale of two caterpillars, as they ponder their destinies. One caterpillar assumes you must crawl and step on everyone else to get to the top and realize the best of life. The other caterpillar does what comes instinctual and builds a life which is rewarding.
Stripe, the caterpillar who has climbed a mountain of other caterpillars, finally reaches the top of the mound and only finds hundreds of other mounds of caterpillars, in the distance, doing the same thing. Yellow, the caterpillar who followed her instincts has built a cocoon and emerged as a beautiful butterfly.
The best part of this story is that yellow is willing to help Stripe remember his instincts. I think you will love this story and it will leave a warm feeling in your soul.

2. The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho, (1988)

First written in Portuguese, this must-read inspirational fiction book, became a bestseller worldwide. There’s a reason for such adoration.
The story is about a shepherd boy who decides to follow his destiny because of a dream he had while in an old church. A fortune teller suggests he follow his dream and travel to Egypt in search of treasure within the pyramids. As the boy travels, he encounters many obstacles and learns many lessons.
After meeting an alchemist, who teaches him how to know his true self, he is changed. When he is robbed, one of the thieves accidentally reveals a great revelation.
We learn from this story that sometimes what we need and desire the most is right where we are. Fruitless searching will take us right back to the beginning.

3. Fight Club, Chuck Palahniuk, (1996)

You may have seen the movie, but you should read the book as well.
In this must-read fiction novel, an unnamed protagonist struggles with insomnia. He seeks help only to be told that insomnia isn’t really suffering. He seeks help in support groups instead.
Finally, he meets a man who would change his life by introducing him to underground fighting arenas. This environment, you might say, becomes his therapy.
This novel became so popular that a movie was adapted from the story, as I mentioned. It even has a following of young men who see the story as inspiration.

4. The Road, Cormac Maccarthy, (2005)

This story touched my soul in that it showed me the depths of human nature alongside the love and beauty of it as well. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic landscape where every living human being is out to survive at any cost. This means killing other humans and even more depraved acts.
The main protagonist and his son travel in hopes of finding long term sanctuary. The novel will rip your heart out at times but does end with a glimmer of hope.
Although the story may be hard to stomach at times, it will certainly leave you thinking about human nature for quite a while after reading.

5. The Story of Keesh, Jack London (1904)

We, as humans have trouble understanding things beyond our learned abilities. We may understand the strength and we may understand a certain level of magic, or say, “witchcraft”, as The Story of Keesh reminds us.
One thing that sometimes makes human beings struggle is the act of strategy. While some strategies are easy to understand, some are so simple, they go over our heads.
In the story of Keesh, the young 13-year-old Keesh teaches his tribe about using strategy to hunt, even to hunt animals which seem impossible to capture and kill. Keesh’s father before him was killed by a large bear, and yet, Keesh managed to kill many of them for his village.
Did he use strength? No! Did he use witchcraft, as the elders suggested? No, he did not. He simply created a trap which would kill the animal from the inside out.
This story leaves an impression on our souls and reminds us that there is so much power in the human mind and in determination. We don’t forget stories of this kind.

6. Sophie’s World, Jostein Gaarder, (1991)

Some people never really ask the important questions about life until they are older.
As for Sophie, she gets the opportunity to learn about philosophy as a teenager. After meeting Alberto Knox, her life changes forever. During the novel, she experiences an ability to utilize her imagination like never before.
After reading this book, you may learn a few new things yourself. And I promise, your soul will be left with an impression like no other.
The must-read fiction book became so popular that it was translated from its native Norwegian to 59 other languages. The book was also adapted into a film and video game too.

7. To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee (1960)

It’s amazing just what we miss when we’re not paying attention. In this novel, Scout and her brother Jem are lost in the wiles of childhood. Meanwhile, their lawyer father, Atticus, is busy trying to win his most important case. A black man has been accused of raping a white woman, and Atticus must prove his innocence.
This novel will touch your soul as you read about the truth of Southern Alabama in the 60s. You will realize just how much we take for granted about human rights and freedom. While some of the historical language usages may be jarring, it’s a must-read.

Sometimes Fiction Can Change You

There are many self-help books and non-fiction journals that change the way we see the world and ourselves. There is also outstanding must-read fiction that changes us as much as other types of books.
I encourage you to explore fiction titles in your area. You never know when you might find a gem worth sharing with others.
Until we read from different lives, perspectives and even imaginative stories, we never really understand the full scope of the life we live. Our souls can only be touched by allowing the fullness of life to enter. So, go forth, read, read, read….and get to know yourself and the world like never before.

Naikan Reflection: How This Japanese Technique Transforms Your Relationships ~ Francesca F.

chamavioleta, 13.07.19

Naikan Reflection:

How This Japanese Technique Transforms Your Relationships.

By Francesca F.

July 12th, 2019

Naikan Reflection helps us to better understand ourselves and others in our various relationships.
Relationships are complicated, and it is always easier to focus on the bad parts than the good. Naikan Reflection is a form of genuine self-reflection which aims to help us understand our relationships better.

By understanding the bigger picture, we can see the nuances of a relationship. Most significantly, you may find yourself recognizing cycles of negative behavior, or having a greater respect for what others do for you.

What Is Naikan Reflection?

Naikan Reflection is a structured method of self-reflection which helps us to get a more realistic sense of our relationships with others. It was developed by Japanese businessman and devoted Jodo Shinshu Buddhist, Yoshimoto Ishin.

Those who practice it claim that it helps them to understand themselves and others with who they have relationships.
The Three Questions of Naikan Reflection

Naikan Reflection is based on three key questionswhich help us to reflect on our relationships with others, from friends to family, co-workers to acquaintances.
  1. What have I received from…?
  2. What have I given to…?
  3. What troubles and difficulties have I caused…?
There is a logical fourth question in this series which is ‘What troubles and difficulties have… caused me?’ This question was purposefully ignored because of the belief that this question is responsible for too much misery in daily life.
One of the most important aspects of Naikan Reflection is that it assumes we are all naturally good at seeing an answer to this fourth question. In contrast, true knowledge comes from a little introspection.

Three Different Methods to Practice Naikan Reflection

The general method of practicing Naikan Reflection is to answer these questions in detail.
  • Examine first what you have received from others.
There are times we receive things from others without understanding the sacrifices they made or the thought they gave it. Take the time to understand this and to whom you should be grateful.
  • Next, consider what you have given to others.
We are all susceptible to self-criticism. Taking the time to understand how you are capable of helping others can change our perception of ourselves.
As a result, this is a valuable tool because it helps to boost self-esteem and change our mindset. When we see the good in what we have done without making a conscious effort, we can see the good we are capable of in the future.
  • The final question is not the easiest to answer.
We never like to point fingers at ourselves; doing so can be difficult. Yet, we must understand the hardships we have caused others to truly be introspective. When we see what difficulties we have caused others, we can begin to understand and even repair those relationships.
There are three main ways Naikan Reflection can be practiced, so you can find the right method for you.

Daily Naikan (Nichijo Naikan)

Daily Naikan Reflection takes only 20 to 30 minutes before falling asleep. Sit in a quiet place and minimize distractions. Consider the three questions of Naikan and answer them in relation to the events of the day.
Try to be as specific as you can rather than generalize about ‘receiving food’ or ‘gave assistance.’ It may seem trivial, but it is important to recognize what you should be grateful for and what you offer others.
This method is the simplest. It also keeps the self-reflection we do present in our daily lives.

Naikan Reflection on a Person

Naikan Reflection can be done in reference to a specific person. This method takes a little longer because it focuses on the entire relationship, beginning to end. Start with how you met, and slowly work your way through the ups and downs of the relationship chronologically.
Naikan Reflection on a person gives us greater insight and respect for a particular person. You may focus on a few weeks, or a few years, giving yourself a detailed account of hard times with the gift of hindsight.
You will be able to see how the relationship has strengthened or may be weakened. However, you will be able to see the situation as a whole.

A Naikan Retreat (Schuchu Naikan)

Naikan Retreats can be a scheduled event, or it can be something you venture to do alone. Taking yourself away for a set amount of time to a quiet and secluded place can be mind-opening.
Venture to a peaceful and private spot and give yourself nothing to do but reflect. View your life chronologically and assess all of your relationships in turn.
This is the most intense version of self-reflection and it can take some time to work up to this. However, those who take part in such retreats have profound and life-changing experiences. What is important is that you are sincere and committed to the experience.

Why self-reflection is important

Self-reflection is deeply entrenched in many of the world’s spiritual cultures. There are many different methods of self-reflection which can help open your mind to all that life is.
Naikan Reflection is simply one of many of these methods, but it helps us to form closer bonds through the understanding of our relationships.
Most importantly, practicing this reflection helps us to recognize the importance of others and the positive impact we can have in the lives of others.

Since ancient times, the moon has come to symbolically embody the realm of the subconscious, emotions, intuition, and the cycles of life and death.
You don’t necessarily need to identify as a pagan or practice other earth-centered spiritual paths to benefit from the power of full moon rituals.
When viewed through a symbolic, psychospiritual, archetypal, or even purely energetic lens, the moon is a very real presence in our lives that can help orient us on the spiritual path. No matter where you live in the world, the moon is an omnipresent force in your life. Why not use it in your spiritual practice?
There are numerous instructions out there for creating a full moon ritual – but the main problem with using someone else’s instructions is that they don’t have the same ‘oomph’ or impact as the rituals you create yourself. While there’s nothing wrong with following a full moon ritual another person has detailed (especially if you’re lacking ideas), I do recommend trying to craft one of your own. Then, compare the two and see which you benefit the most from. In other words, don’t take my word for it – try it out yourself!
But first, let’s get down to basics …

What is a Full Moon Ritual?

A full moon ritual is essentially an intentional ceremony or symbolic action you take on the night of a full moon. Full moon rituals are created in order to imbue your life with the symbolic and energetic qualities of the full moon – these include the elements of power, amplification, action, and an increase in subconscious activity which produces enhanced intuition and insight.

The Symbolic Meaning of the Full Moon

In order to create a dynamic full moon ritual that deeply resonates with your unconscious mind, you’ll need to learn about the symbolism of the full moon.
The full moon has been spoken and written about for millennia across many cultures. The Chinese, for example, associate the full moon with the essence of yin (female energy). Buddhists, on the other hand, see the full moon as symbolizing spiritual power (as Buddha supposedly gained his enlightenment on a night of the full moon) and many sacred festivals are held during the full moon.
In secular folklore, the full moon has been associated with lunacy (madness), insomnia, and psychological disturbances – hence the term “lunatic” (which derives from the Latin word ‘lunaticus’ which means moon-struck).
In astrology, the full moon is a peak of energy that highlights opposing polarities and forces in your life. It is also a time of harvest (or reaping what you have sown).
In paganism, the full moon is a time where one’s psychic energy increases, and powerful intentions, spells, and rituals can be practiced. The full moon also represents the mother aspect of the divine feminine.
When we boil down the symbolic meaning of the full moon, however, the themes of amplification, subconscious power, and illumination continually arise. So these are the meanings subscribed to within this article.

Why Should I Bother Creating a Full Moon Ritual?

This is a fair question, and my answer is that if you genuinely don’t feel called to do a full moon ritual, don’t! The world isn’t going to end. Your life isn’t going to blow up. Creating a full moon ritual is simply one of many empowering practices you can add to your spiritual toolkit and it’s not necessarily for everyone.
With that being said, I do feel that it’s important to experiment with a full moon ritual at least once. Who knows what potentially life-changing and paradigm shifting benefits you may receive from this practice?
The most important thing you need to know about the power of the full moon ritual is that it utilizes four essential elements of any transformative spiritual practice: willpower, intention, symbolism, and ritual. These four elements have a truly electric and intense impact on the unconscious mind. The whole point of a full moon ritual is to generate deep change within the nether regions of your mind, aka. your unconscious.
As you may or may not have gathered so far (from previous articles on this website), the unconscious mind is the realm of potential, the space in which your soul emerges, and the doorway to Spirit (or the Collective Unconscious). By doing a full moon ritual, you are stepping into your personal power and actively petitioning and preparing your unconscious mind for transformation. In other words, there is so much more to full moon rituals than pretty candles or crystals – it’s ultimate purpose is genuine psychospiritual change.

How to Keep Track of the Full Moon?

If you’re like most people, you will be pretty out-of-touch with the moon cycles. You might occasionally glance up at the sky but not give much thought to the phase of the moon and its significance.
Thankfully, you don’t have to be an avid goggly-eyed sky-gazer to track the position of the moon thanks to this wonderful thing called the internet.
There are many websites out there (particularly those to do with astrology, witchcraft, and paganism) which keep a tracker of the current moon phase. You can purchase a yearly moon phase calendar from places like Amazon and hang it up in your house. There are also many interesting phone apps out there that track the moon phases such as Simple Moon Phase Calendar, My Moon Phase, Phases of the Moon, etc.
Just keep in mind that if you live in the southern hemisphere, you will need to find a calendar, website or app that accurately records the phases of the moon according to your country as most moon phase resources are created by northern hemispherians.

How to Create Your Own Authentic Full Moon Ritual

The best thing about making your own 100% tailored-to-you full moon ritual is that it works around your needs, daily schedule, interests, and the current objects you have on hand.
You don’t need to go out and buy a load of metaphysical paraphernalia to enact a powerful full moon ritual nor do you need to make it Instagram-worthy. In fact, I encourage you to try and leave social media out of your full moon ritual altogether as it will dilute your focus and intent.
You also don’t need to make your full moon ritual overly flowery, poetic, long, multi-layered, or esoteric – unless of course that works for you.
Essentially, there are no rules, only suggestions. Don’t feel pressured to make your rituals look like those you see in books, online, or among your friends. Your rituals have YOUR style and essence, so don’t feel the need to make them look or feel like anyone else’s.
Now that we’ve gone through these precautions, here are some tips that will help you create your own authentic full moon ritual:

1. Find out when the next full moon is

Check your moon app, your calendar or even the local weather website (which usually lists what phase the moon currently is in). The full moon occurs on average once every 29.5 days, so you’ll experience it about once a month.

2. Think about what you would like amplified or illuminated within you

What are you struggling with at the moment? What shadows need to come to light? What archetypes would you like to embody? What do you need to let go of? What skills or inner resources do you need to draw on? Reflect on these questions or journal about them.

3. Shape your intention

Once you have completed the previous step (which hopefully won’t take too long), it’s time to set an intention which basically means a goal or objective. What do you want to achieve? What will be the purpose of your full moon ritual? Write out your full moon intention in your journal or a piece of paper that you can store in your sacred space/altar.

4. Prepare some symbolic objects

Whether on the day/night of the full moon or beforehand, select some symbolic objects that could represent your issue, desire, yourself as a whole, your current place in life, what you need to let go of, your strengths, weaknesses, what needs to be illuminated … you get the picture. Basically, choose any object currently in your house that represents the part of you or your situation that needs to be amplified or illuminated. Examples of symbolic objects could include rocks, feathers, flowers, dolls, crystals, cards, figurines, herbs, stamps, old jewelry – literally anything that you feel represents your issue or desire accurately.

5. Create a sacred space

On the day/night of the full moon, dedicate a space specifically to your ritual that is undisturbed. You may already have an altar somewhere in your house, and if so, that is perfect. If you don’t have an altar or sacred space, you can set up a temporary one on a window sill, balcony, or even the corner of your bedroom, kitchen or bathroom. You can choose to ‘cleanse’ this space of energetic debris by clapping your hands, using a smudge stick, singing bowl, visualizing a purified circle around you, or anything that speaks to you. Whatever the case, it’s important that your unconscious mind symbolically registers that the space you’re preparing is sacred and important.

6. Perform your full moon ritual

You don’t need to spend hours doing an elaborate ritual. Even just a couple of minutes can be enough to create and evoke a strong message within your unconscious.
With your symbolic objects at hand, arrange them in a way that feels powerful to you. You could arrange them according to your desires, e.g. you could place two symbolic objects together symbolizing a unison. You could arrange your objects according to a symbol, e.g. a circle representing wholeness or completing. You could burn one of the objects or submerge it in a bowl of water representing letting go. You could place an object on your body and symbolically ‘breathe’ it in. You could consume one of the objects (if it’s edible and non-toxic) to symbolize empowerment, strength, and renewal. The sky is the limit.
I recommend listening to your instincts and doing what feels the most significant to you. Feel free to be totally unconventional, this is your ritual after all.

7. Symbolically close your ritual

No matter how you choose to design your ritual, always symbolically close/end it. Your unconscious mind needs to understand that the ritual is over (think of closing your ritual as hitting the “send” button). Leaving the ritual open without intentionally closing it sends confusing signals to your unconscious mind. Closing your ritual is simple. Once again, close it however you intuitively feel is the right way. Examples may include ringing a bell, saying a prayer of thanks, visualizing an “X,” saying a phrase like “so may it be,” and so forth.
As you see, there are no concrete rules here, only a basic structure that you may wish to follow if it suits you.

5 Full Moon Rituals (For Inspiration)

I understand that creating a full moon ritual can seem daunting or confusing at first. So I’ll provide a few simple examples below that you’re free to use or treat as a springboard for your own designs:

Ritual #1 – Power Words

What you will need:
  • mantra or affirmation of your creation
  • A candle
  • A lighter
  • Access to outdoors
Formulate an healing, enriching or empowering affirmation (e.g. “I open my heart a little more each day,” “I am brave, capable, and strong,” “I love my body as it is” etc.). On the night of the full moon, go outside, bring a candle and lighter, and sit down somewhere comfortable and safe. Light the candle to begin the ritual. Then repeat your power words out loud (or in your head) ten times. Ten is the number of completion. As you repeat your power words, look up at the moon and allow its luminescence to amplify your words. When you are done, blow out the candle.

Ritual #2 – Candle Flame Release

What you will need:
  • A pen
  • A piece of paper
  • Matches or a lighter
  • A fireproof container, bowl or cauldron
On the night of the full moon write down an aspect of yourself or your life that you need to surrender on a piece of paper. For example, you might write “I let go of my shame,” “I let go of my perfectionism,” “I let go of the friends that do not support my highest good,” “I let go of my past,” “I let go of my self-destructive tendencies,” etc.
Prepare a fireproof bowl, container or cauldron and place it in your sacred space. Open your full moon ritual by visualizing the light of the moon encircling you. When you are ready, begin to burn your piece of paper over your fireproof container. Watch as the paper curls up into ash. You may like to say within your mind or out loud “I release this, so may it be,” or simply “goodbye.” When the paper has turned completely to ash, go outside and scatter the ash to the wind. Alternatively, you can bury the ash. When you are finished, say within or out loud “it is done.”
(Note: if you are burning paper indoors, please ensure you practice caution and common-sense.)

Ritual #3 – Moon Bath

What you will need:
  • An object that symbolizes you
  • An object that symbolizes your intention
  • A dish or plate
This full moon ritual is good if you want to empower yourself in some way. What you will need are two basic objects – one that represents you and one that represents your intention. For example, you might choose a strand of hair from your hairbrush, a photo of yourself, a piece of your jewelry or anything that represents you in some way for your first item.
For your second item, choose an object that symbolizes your goal, desire or intention. For instance, you might choose a certain gemstone (e.g. rose quartz for self-love, hematite for grounding, lapis lazuli for authenticity), a picture you have found in a magazine, even a piece of cutlery (like a knife if you want to have a sharper mind). If you can’t find a symbolic object in your house, write down your intention on a piece of paper.
On the night of the full moon, place both of your objects on a dish. Put the object that represents you on the left and the object that represents your intention on the right. (Left is symbolically a passive position and right is symbolically an active position – so your intention will ideally be placed on the right side of the dish facing you.) Go outside and put your dish in a place where the moon’s light touches the earth. You can skip this part if you like and simply place your dish in a part of your house where the moon’s light spills through the window. As you place the dish in the moonlight say, “may the moon amplify [insert your intention] So may it be.” For example, you may say, “may the moon amplify my ability to love myself – so may it be,” “may the moon amplify my desire to see with clarity” and so forth.

Ritual #4 – Herbal Tea Brew

What you will need:
  • A symbolic herb (in tea form) of your choice that represents your need, desire or goal
  • A cup
  • A spoon
  • Boiled water
In this full moon ritual, you will be ingesting your intention so that it symbolically becomes a living part of you. This is a basic but powerful ritual that can be quite relaxing, enjoyable, and discreet. If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands and are constantly surrounded by others, why not try this full moon ritual? All you will need is to purchase/gather a herb that represents your need, desire or goal. You can find many herbal correspondences online, but to save you time, here are a few:
Chamomile (for meeting life with calmness and gentleness)
Holy Basil (for emotional resilience)
Calendula (for passion and creativity)
Dandelion (for achieving your wishes and goals)
Peppermint (for purification)
Rose (for self-love and compassion)
Lemongrass (for optimism and open communication)
Ginger (for getting in touch with your personal power)
Ginkgo Biloba (for integration)
Jasmine (for sensuality and sexual confidence)
Mugwort (for increased intuition and visionary abilities)
I can’t list all the herbs out there, but many of the above herbs you can find in your local supermarket or health food store. For your convenience, I’ve also linked each herb above to a store that sells organic tea which I’ve tried and recommend.
When you have chosen your herb, find a quiet place indoors on the night of the full moon. Begin your ritual by boiling water in your kettle and pouring it mindfully into your cup. Let the tea bag (or tea leaves) steep for a few minutes. While you wait, focus on your intention. When the tea is ready, get your spoon and stir in a clockwise motion thinking about your intention. When you are ready, drink your tea slowly. Feel your intention descend into the depths of your body as it simultaneously descends into the depths of your unconscious mind to take root. Once you have finished your tea, the ritual is complete.

Ritual #5 – Art journaling

What you will need:
  • A pen or pencil
  • Colored texters, watercolors, acrylics or pastels
  • A piece of paper
If you enjoy artistic self-expression you will like this full moon ritual. Essentially, you will need a space where you can draw or doodle. Set your piece of paper out in front of you on the day/night of the full moon, and write or draw what you are struggling with. You don’t need to make it elaborate or pretty – in fact, it’s better not to as you’ll be drawing all over it!
Next, choose some colors that evoke the feelings in you that you’d like to experience. For example, you may wish to step into your personal sovereignty and choose reds and oranges or you may wish to find more inner peace and choose blues and violets.
Once you have written/drawn out your issue, state out loud (or in your mind) “may the full moon help to release/transform this.” Then, draw or paint over the words/scene in front of you with your intention. For example, you may have originally depicted a scene of yourself curled up on the ground in a fetal position that symbolizes sadness and setback. On top, you may choose to paint a picture of yourself smiling or standing on top of a mountain feeling victorious. Make sure you completely cover the words or pictures beneath. Once you are done, end your full moon ritual by placing your picture in the moonlight to symbolically release/transform/amplify your intentions.
I hope you’re feeling all bubbly with ideas right now!
Do you have a favorite full moon ritual that you’d like to share? I’d love to hear it below. Let’s cross-pollinate and gain some creative ideas to shape our own unique rituals!
